SUMATRA

This crop of Sumatra Mandheling has all the characteristics you would expect -- low acid, flashes of bitter with sweet, bourbon-like complexity, herbal notes, spice, smooth, rich, not musty, great lingering aftertaste.  The rich full body in dark roasts make it a crowd favorite, and this lot has a nice balance of flavor and earthy notes. complexity, body, and smoky characteristics with tobacco and hints of spices and roots.  
Drink it all day and don’t worry about heartburn — it’s very low acid.  This one comes with Fair trade organic certifications.
 
* Coffee offered as organic has organic certification from the farm or coop. That means organic farming practices were used.  At White Blossom Coffee Co. we do not offer our coffee as certified organic because of the added expense of having our roaster certified by the USDA. Therefore we can not list our coffee as "certified organic". The important factor is the non-use of pesticides and fertilizers during coffee production.
